If I had a dime for every time I wrote or called G.O tender, I would be a millionaire. But as it is one of my favorite ways to describe him, I am going to drop another dime in the bank, as it is my choice of adjective for today’s ABC’s of G.O. We are nearing the end of the alphabet which works out rather perfectly seeing how we are running out of days of his service. Yes, soon we will hit the two month remaining mark which means we will also be two months and one week away from his fan meeting. I can no longer explain the excitement because it is getting too big to contain. So to help, I just want us to relax into a visual offering of G.O’s tenderness.

Oh my dear Mexican A+, I trust you realize that you were given the most sublime vocal blessing from our charming main vocal back in August 2013. I was not aware until just today (yes, after all this time, I am still finding treasures I did not know existed), that you had the privilege and pleasure of experiencing Canción Para Tus Lágrimas, better known as Song For Your Tears. I am just being cheeky here with the Spanish title because G.O sang this amazing Javier Colon song for you in Mexico. I am also beating myself up for not discovering this sooner. But, since it is a Fan-Camming Friday day, it turned out to be THE perfect find.

G.O wearing a soft and form fitted black t-shirt, arms exposed, his glossy hair highlighted by sunny Seoul skies teems with a combination of raging masculinity and gentle romanticism. At least that is how I see him when I look at pictures captured of MBLAQ’s return from their Japanese debut back in May 2011. But then, that is basically how I see G.O always. You know, that perfect blend of sweet and sexy; strong and gentle, etc. There were not many photographic captures that I could find of G.O at Gimpo that fine sunny day in May, but I found a few that encouraged me enough to want to add to the growing collection of G.O’s Airport Style here on the countdown.

In reviewing the past G.O One Shots where I have posted .gifs, I noticed that I have given the short teaser video for G.O’s second digital single Play That Song lots and lots of .gif love. And for good reason. The mini MV is 1:36 of pure vocal and visual bliss. So I decided that today I would simply add another .gif from the PTS video treasure chest because it is a gift that keeps giving.

I am one of G.O’s fans who has a healthy appreciation for the creative collaboration and subsequent music that was born during his time with Tykeys. Every song, including Su’s solo work, is a candidate for the Vocal Virtuosity list. Every single one. Lately, R&B has taken a firmer foothold in South Korea (much to my delight); however, back in 2007, it did not get the exposure and respect it deserved. Inasmuch as Ty Project No. 1 was an amazing album, in my opinion, it never got proper recognition, promotion and airplay. I listen to it quite a bit so it gets lots of airplay in my house! Often when I am listening to it, I long to hear the present and seasoned vocalist G.O sing the songs of that album. The closest we actually came to that was when G.O appeared with rapper Nassun on Trend-E’s The Muzit show back on 9 October 2010 wherein he sang 22 seconds of Tykeys’ first single, I’m Sorry. And it was twenty-two seconds of absolute vocal virtuosity.

G.O continues to spoil us with his Instagram updates which have been consistently coming since February of this year. Yes, G.O has updated every month since February and often times has shared multiple updates. Such was the case Sunday, the 10th of December.

I am not ashamed to admit that I envy those who can draw. That envy is never more greener than when I see G.O fan art because I know if I could draw, I would probably be spending many hours of my free time hunched over a sketchbook or canvas drawing his likeness. I have often said that G.O is a wonderful work of art all unto himself. His physical features are flawless and lend themselves well to an artist’s pen, pencil or paintbrush. Today’s fan art is compliments of a Russian artist by the name of Julia whose gorgeous rendition of G.O is a perfect example of why I believe he is an artist’s perfect model.

I have been thinking about the Men In Blaq concert recently. It was MBLAQ’s first major concert and therefore pretty special. The one thing about the early concert tours that I did not get to experience at Curtain Call back in November 2014, were the special stages. I was thinking about all of the G.O special stages I did not get to see which makes me hungry for all upcoming special stages he will give us when he returns. But this post is not about special stages or even really the MIB concert. No, it is a just quick visit to a moment of G.O’s Fabled Fan Service that just so happened to have occurred on that day, 20 August 2011. It probably may not necessarily be deemed blatant fan service; but to me, whenever G.O engages with fans outside of the purview of a fan sign, fan meeting or performance, he is more than exercising fan service. He is exercising a desire to connect which is fan service on steroids.^^

When isn’t a G.O-focused Mona Lisa fan cam a good thing? It is always a good thing. Whether on a Friday or any day, watching (and hearing) G.O during Mona Lisa is a tantalizing delight. I think it has been well over 100 days since I last honored a Mona Lisa performance, so time seems about right to have another. For this Fan-camming Friday, I am choosing a focused cam from the Cheong-gu Prime Concert on 8 August 2012.
