Waiting For Donghun ~ Celebrating 200 Days! (Day 200)

Back on May 17, 2019, A.C.E released their EP, Under Cover. It must have been serendipity, destiny or fate as that’s my birthday, and it was the Under Cover tour that same year that roped me in and created a new Choice. We were meant to be, right? Anyway, the entire Under Cover EP is awesome but it has two of my all time favorite A.C.E B-sides, If You Heard and Mr. Bass. Mr. Bass is the subject of my Hunnie Cam offering today in celebration of 200 days served! Yay! Donghun in a suit, dancing to the funky Mr. Bass is really all a girl could ever need to celebrate this milestone. So, let’s hop in the A.C.E time machine and head to the International Youth Center fan sign event on June 1, 2019.

Waiting For Donghun ~ Day 95

I honestly did not realize how much of a K-pop bubble I have been living in until I came across this Hunnie Cam offering which is a focused fan cam of Donghun taken during an A.C.E fan sign back in November 2019. The sheltered K-pop bubble thought became abundantly clear when I realized that I only recognized/knew three of the eight songs of the dance medley A.C.E performed at the fan sign. Yes folks, I have never heard a BTS song . . . and there are three featured in the dance medley. What can I say other than I am probably the only K-pop fan in modern history that has not been wooed, wowed or caught up in the BTS maelstrom. I have always preferred to walk to the beat of my own drum, but this is probably unprecedented!

Waiting For Donghun ~ Day 84

This is not the first time we are going to see a focused cam of Mr. Lee performing Slow Dive among the many offerings of Hunnie Cam posts here on the countdown and it definitely will not be the last. For today, I believe it is number two, not that I am going to keep any steady count, but I just wanted to mention that some songs will definitely make their way into this countdown multiple times, in multiple forms. If a fan frequented many fan signs within a given comeback, it stands to reason there will be a variety of cams of the same songs. The beauty though is that no two performances are alike. And besides, Slow Dive is one of my all time A.C.E favorites so naturally it will worm it’s way into many a posts! Today, from the November 17, 2019 Soundwave Fan Sign, another Slow Dive into the abyss of a Donghun fan cam.

Waiting For Donghun ~ Day 42

Let me just preface this by saying that this post is all about a Hunnie Cam you did not think you wanted, but definitely needed. I think it is particularly special because the fan sign from where it evolves happened last November. Yes, November 2020. We were still in pandemic mode at the time so there had to have been a very small number of fans in attendance which makes it all that more intimate and special. Nevertheless, there was a fan sign on November 20, 2020 which was two months after the release of A.C.E’s third EP, HJZM : The Butterfly Phantasy; the EP that includes one of my all time favorite tracks, Baby Tonight. The countdown gods must be pleased with me because there is a focused Donghun cam from the fan sign performance. Hurry…let’s have a look.

Waiting For Donghun ~ Day 12

Let’s agree that what happens at fan meeting/signs, stays at fan meeting/signs. Unless of course there is tangible proof of the mischief that ensues when a group meets with fans to shower them with love and gratitude. And well, they want to make it memorable, right? Even if it gets a little rude, yes? I am not talking offensive rude. No, just the kind of rude that can make a fangirl blush. Sort of like what A.C.E served up at their June 29, 2018 fan sign in Busan, and which is the subject of this Hunnie Cam offering.
