Can it be? Have we finally reached the final ten days of G.O’s service?! Indeed we have and because I am in a really good mood as a result, I thought we could go back to a little bit of the fun and games had during Episode 15 of Oh! My School/100 points out of 100. Not only did we get some adorable G.O, we got some adorable G.O trying to avoid elimination from the ‘guess my word’ game while singing Wheesung. And that is nothing short of a double bonus.

I would often tell friends who were going through some difficult times that without the bitter in life, we would not be able to recognize the sweet. That hard times are usually not permanent and that without them, we probably would never appreciate the good ones. Life is an amazing rollercoaster. And, all that is associated with it challenges us, shapes us, and strengthens us. Every facet is vital and zoetic. Ah…you knew I had to be going somewhere with this philosophical rambling. The very basic meaning of the word zoetic is probably most associated with science as it means living, vital and pertaining to life. But when I think of G.O, I think it has a deeper more esoteric meaning. We have reached the final letter in The ABC’s of G.O series at long last where Z is for Zoetic.

For the final round of G.O’s Airport Style, I will rewind and go back to the beginning. Well, not completely back, but back far enough to almost be the beginning! Back to December 2009 when the freshly debuted MBLAQ returned from spending time with mentor Rain’s Japanese Clouds. G.O set the halls of Gimpo ablaze decked in black and denim, his hoodie style in place and on point.

It is Saturday and the 3rd day of February. That means two things: G.O is discharged in exactly two weeks and it is time for a G.O Dance Break. I started thinking about when G.O and Mir went to Perú for the Koica Dream project and I remembered there was cam out there of the wild pair dancing it up a bit for their Perú A+. That would make for a fun dance break moment to share for this 717th day of Mr. Main Vocal’s service. So, without further ado, let’s go back to Perú.

When isn’t Y a sexy feast to behold? Most always never. It has always been one of MBLAQ’s most provocative songs with an equally intense performance when brought to the stage. So when MBLAQ decided to include it in their performance repertoire at the 4 June 2013 Sexy Beat showcase, I think it pretty much left fans unhinged. Maybe it was all of the black leather and sheer components of their stage wear. Oh my . . . sexy beat certainly lived up to its name. Let’s not hesitate a moment longer and get to the Friday Fan-Camming offering for the day.

Before I gave way to using this sub-category solely to share G.O’s many recent selca updates, I was simply sharing various selcas he had given fans over the years. Recently I mentioned that I decided not to worry so much about his real time updates but to continue in the nostalgic vein this countdown series had been traveling from the outset. A kind of retrospective of G.O. I am therefore deeming today the last G.O Selca Magic day of the countdown and I am labeling it old is gold because more than four years have passed now since he posted the selca I choose to share today. I suppose it is not that old, as old would have been a selca from his days with Tykeys. Yes, I could have traveled back further, but really any selca that has not happened in this very year could conceivably be called old, or at best, older. But old is good. In fact, old is gold.

Well, I knew I would be saying this about many of the sub-categories I have created during this post as we near the end of G.O’s service: This is my last Fan-ART-astic post! I cannot believe that I am literally approaching the final day of this countdown series. I know I have often stated during these past 714 days that the time has gone by quickly and for the most part, it has. But I am not going to deny it, it has been a long, long journey. Still, the time spent writing about this talented and darling young man has been a privilege. It is too early to get all weepy!!! So, let’s have a look at my final Fan-ART-astic offering. I decided to close this sub-category with one of my fave artists, SakuTori. She has drawn G.O often and has drawn him well. Because I saw him for the very first time as Dong Ho in the musical Seopyeonje, it is my SakuTori choice for the day.

Absolute nostalgia is my choice for the G.O One Shot today, a picture from the Tykeys archives. Even though more than ten years have passed, little has changed about G.O. True, he is older and most likely wiser. The experiences of his life (good and not so good) have only added to the depth of his talent which continues to grow and evolve. And, perhaps has even added to the incredible depth that always seems present in his gorgeous eyes.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 712

Many fans who have been with MBLAQ since debut certainly remember the mini documentary Making The Artist that began airing on GOMTV back on 26 May 2010. As much as I love MBLAQ in full on variety, I also enjoy a more behind the scenes type program that follows their day-to-day activities and in the case of Making The Artist, follow them as they prepared for a comeback with the release of their second mini album Y. By May of 2010, G.O had already MC-ed the M Countdown show for a couple of months and had a strong presence on the airwaves with his many radio program appearances. In my opinion, he was settling in nicely as a host. G.O has a wonderful presence on camera and is equally steady and charming on the radio. With his intelligence, wit and magnetism, I have often felt he would be an amazing host of his own variety or reality show, as well as a formidable disc jockey on the airwaves. Therefore, it is no surprise how comfortable he was talking about the business at hand on the set that day, as well as being the interviewee along with leader Seung Ho during a segment of Making The Artist.
