Sometimes the best captures in picture form are those wherein the subject is unaware a camera is being pointed at him or her. Even though G.O is pretty keen on locating cameras in a crowd, there are many times when he is not particularly paying attention. Don’t get me wrong, I love, love, LOVE when he locks eyes with a camera’s lens (especially those cameras being operated by fans). However, I love the oblivious ones as well because they sometimes capture a thoughtful, quiet or reflective moment. My One Shot for today is one of those captures.

Even if G.O believes that he cannot choose clothes, it is pretty safe to say that clothes can choose him and choose him well. Whatever he wears – be it of his own choice or the choice of a stylist or costume director, those finely woven pieces of fabric will invariably look balanced, comfortable, classy and fashionable. I have said it very often because it is true, clothes wear G.O very well. I would like to remind him (and all) of just that with my One Shot .gif today. Yes, today I want to revisit how he lit up the runway helping out designer Park Jong Chul during Seoul Fashion week in the autumn of 2012.

Because G.O is so incredibly sweet, gentle and kind, we sometimes can forget how wicked sexy he can be. Today’s G.O One Shot is a reminder that G.O’s kind of sexy is more powerful and lethal than he himself perhaps even realizes. But, I don’t mind having the chore of reminding him today. It is Day 486 or as I am going to call it: Super Sizzling Saturday.

It is now June 2017 and even as we move closer to G.O’s discharge from the Army, I am still nostalgic for many things in the past. With June’s arrival, I cannot help but think back on MBLAQ’s comeback as a trio in 2015. As exciting as it was, there was still a sense of the unknown as to what the new music would sound like (it was and still remains great) as well as what the trio dynamic would be like (that too, was and still remains great). Since the future is uncertain, we really only have the now, and we definitely have the then. For my G.O One Shot today, I travel back to the days leading up to the release of Mirror and relive the sensational excitement of the teaser photo released in anticipation of the comeback.

I will agree that I have been stuck in 2014 for the past couple of weeks. It was a rough year, I know. But for me, it was also a magical year and those magical moments are the ones I focus on when I think of 2014. Back on Day 245 and Day 353, I featured pictures from G.O’s cheeky, adorable and gorgeous pictorial in the May  2014 issue of Campus Job & Joy Magazine. Well, there are two more pictures in that series that I have yet to share. In keeping with my 2014 momentum, I share one of those pictures for today’s G.O One Shot offering.

I particularly love today’s offering for the G.O One Shot. For the past ten days I have sprinkled the countdown with moments revisiting G.O’s time on the musical stage as well as celebrating his arrival to the silver screen with his film debut in 아바는 딸 [Dad is Daughter]. I cannot deny that my favorite aspect of G.O’s artistry is his music; however, I am enamored of his ability to take the joy and pain he has experienced, the ups and downs of life, the struggles and the triumphs, and let them all simmer deep in the well of his artistic soul ultimately manifesting themselves through him as an actor.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 414

With the array of selcas G.O has generously gifted us throughout the month of February alone, and then the couple he surprised us with last month, it is difficult to come up with pictures that could top those. But One Shots were created to span the frontier of the many glorious captures of G.O. And for purposes of this specific category, that means pictures that do not fall within the selca spectrum. Inasmuch as a selca pretty much trumps all other pictures, I am nevertheless going to continue digging into the G.O vault for pics, .gifs and fan art to honor this category throughout the remaining days of his service. Remember after G.O opened his Instagram account, he was steadily posting (much to our delight)? He recently deleted a good many of those early pictures but thankfully gave us plenty of time to save them for our own personal archives. I want to share one of those early pics today.
