As I sat down to contemplate the next installment of The ABC’s of G.O, I discovered the letter U to be surprisingly adjective-friendly but am settling on one that is most pertinent given the fact that G.O has been away from the music and entertainment scene for nearly two years now. I have done my very best here over these past 680 days to join in the plight of making and keeping G.O . . . unforgettable.

I have a question for you. Do you think you have the patience and stamina to hear me declare how amazing, talented and wonderful G.O is for 52 more days? This countdown series has been a long haul and frankly, I cannot even believe that I have posted something daily now for 679 days (counting this one, of course). As I sat down to write today, I really started to wonder if my friends who have been visiting the blog throughout the countdown have had their fill and/or are bored. I mean it has already been 678 days of me telling you that which you already know, right? But, I hope you will humor me for just a little bit longer as we are literally in the home stretch. Today I give you something simple. Something I want to call Through Fan Eyes which is really nothing groundbreaking or new since the bulk of what I have shared here has been my adoration of G.O as given through various pictures, videos and the like of his fans. I love fan-made videos honoring the beauty and talent of G.O and so I give you a little of that today from the Samsung Display Union Festival back on 6 May 2013.

Friends, I am not sure there could be a better Christmas gift this year than the second one G.O gave us on Christmas Day. Looking beyond handsome in the coziness of a warm wool turtleneck sweater, he updated his Instagram account letting us know:

Happy Christmas everyone! This is the second Christmas we are celebrating with G.O as an enlisted man. This year, he gave us a wonderful holiday surprise on Christmas Eve to help us really enjoy our holiday celebrations: An ever-so-sweet Christmas selca. Too much adorable and the cutest reindeer yet to be seen! I want to send out to him and to all of you my warmest wishes for this holiday season. Wishes filled with healing and love. Please let the spirit of the holidays fill you with a warmth that is patient, kind and loving. Be good to yourselves and to each other. And . . . remember to never stop cherishing those you love.

Yesterday, in the early evening hours on the eve of Christmas Eve, G.O sent us a smile in way of a most friendly face. Yes, while out and about, he snapped a picture of a backseat passenger in a car that, for all intents and purposes, gave him a warm smile that he then passed on to us.

It is Day 675 and a Saturday. Saturdays are made for dancing so I thought I might sneak in a short G.O Dance Break moment on the eve of Christmas Eve. It’s bit of a playful moment that also confirms that G.O has some very agile hips. Let’s travel back to 2010 where on 26 September MBLAQ guested on MBC’s Flower Bouquet where G.O gave us his interpretation of Hyun_A’s provocative dance move from her song, Change.

My love affair with 2012 continues. And since I am not adverse to short clips, snippets and soundbites where G.O is concerned, I am fully satisfied with my choice for today’s Fan-Camming Friday even though it clocks in at under a minute. You know my creed: Any time spent watching and/or listening to G.O is time well-spent, no matter how long or short. So back to May 2012 then when MBLAQ performed at the Kyunghee Cyber University Festival and a little focused cam during the closing moments of Oh Yeah.

Most of the time I have no trouble describing the special kind of handsome that G.O possesses. I call it special because it is layers deep and not wrapped up in only what is visible to the eye. I have talked about how his beauty is the complete manifestation of the kind, gentle, gracious, playful, intelligent and talented man he has showcased to us all countless times. And the camera, on any given day, at any given time, captures this beauty. In fact, every single post I have written about G.O is perhaps a testament of how beautiful he is, at least how beautiful he is to me. He is gorgeous, this is true. But during the Blaq% Tour press conference in Taipei back in August 2012, G.O was a tantalizing tour de force of style, sophistication and yes, handsome.

I am sorry but lately Tykeys have commandeered my playlists and when that happens, I invariably want to share the greatness of G.O’s work. Even though I recently shared an I’m Sorry clip, I am traveling down that road once more here today as there can never be too much vocal virtuosity in an eight day span. I think G.O’s recent (and nostalgic) update where he posted a picture of himself from his Tykeys’ days has triggered my desire to revisit the memories and the music. Happy Monday! It is Day 670 which means there are officially under two months remaining in G.O’s service. So unbelievable, but true. In two months he will return and with that return, a hope for an avalanche of new music. Just the thought of that fills me with so much eager anticipation. Fortunately, we have a wealth of recordings that have been keeping us . . . well, at least have been keeping me, satisfied during the wait. Past moments captured of G.O singing a beautiful love ballad always reach, soothe and caress the inner most corners of our hearts. They also create a desire and longing to hear more of the songs and sounds that have most assuredly been resonating within the corners of his recording studio. While we wait here on Day 670, I will share a moment that came shortly after debut. Yes, a moment From The Studio with G.O and Eric Benét’s sublime The Last Time.
