October 15, 2017 marks MBLAQ’s 8th anniversary. Yes, eight years ago today MBLAQ debuted and revealed to Korean popular music and fans around the world, a versatile group with talent, vision and a stockpile of charisma. At their zenith as five, they were powerhouses on the stage, and were the kings of variety brimming with comedic timing and a natural ability to charm not only the many show hosts, MCs and DJs they met, but colleagues and fans alike. Yes, there have been highs and there have been lows, but they are still standing intact as three, as talented and charismatic as ever. I celebrate their love, friendship and unity, not only today, but every day.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 241
Yesterday I began to take a look at G.O’s lunar astrological sign, the Fire Rabbit. Turned out to be a much longer post than I anticipated and I still had a couple more aspects I wanted to touch on so will wrap it up here on his 241st Day of service. The more cerebral and emotional side of the demure rabbit could possibly be where we can see a deeper connect between G.O and his furry lunar sign.

[event] Merry MBLAQ Christmas Packages: Thank You
All packages have been sent (recipient, nominator, nominee). I can only hope that all on the receiving end who never confirmed receipt did in fact receive their packages safely (some are still in transit). The packages left my care with a hug, a kiss, and a smile. From there, they were on their own to arrive to their final destinations. I have to say, I enjoyed putting each and every one of the packages together. It was indeed a labor of love. However, I am happy and extraordinarily relieved the event is over.

[event] Merry MBLAQ Christmas Packages – The Recipients

Greetings!! The next stage of the Merry MBLAQ Christmas Package event is now upon us! Before I get to the announcement of the ten recipients of the packages, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who participated and sent in nominations. It was an emotional tsunami of love that stormed its way into my heart and the hearts of my hardworking elves, and it did so with a force none of us were prepared for. My elves and I were overwhelmed by the response and equally overwhelmed by the words of love and support shared in those nominations. I can assure you choosing ten was not an easy task but I am happy to announce with great appreciation and love, the following recipients.

[event] Merry MBLAQ Christmas Packages – Nominations Closed
Greetings! The nominating period for the Merry MBLAQ Christmas Package event has now closed! A million thank yous to all who have sent in nominations. It exceeded my expectations. I was very touched by all of the beautiful thoughts and words shared, and especially the love. I am so proud to be a part of this fandom and of the camaraderie between us all. More importantly, however, is the love and support we all share for our beloved MBLAQ, Lee Joon and Cheondung.
As a reminder, my merry elves and I will take the next week to deliberate over who will receive the packages. I can assure you it will not be an easy task as there were many nominations, all of them special and deserving! On November 23rd, I will post the names of the recipients and will be in touch with either them, or their nominators. Finally, during the week of December 1st, the packages will be sent out.
