Most of the time I have no trouble describing the special kind of handsome that G.O possesses. I call it special because it is layers deep and not wrapped up in only what is visible to the eye. I have talked about how his beauty is the complete manifestation of the kind, gentle, gracious, playful, intelligent and talented man he has showcased to us all countless times. And the camera, on any given day, at any given time, captures this beauty. In fact, every single post I have written about G.O is perhaps a testament of how beautiful he is, at least how beautiful he is to me. He is gorgeous, this is true. But during the Blaq% Tour press conference in Taipei back in August 2012, G.O was a tantalizing tour de force of style, sophistication and yes, handsome.

If any of you came to the MBLAQ fandom after the summer of 2012, then I am sure you share the same regret for missing out on the Blaq% Asia Tour. In a way it is probably a good thing that I was not yet cognizant because I most likely would have gone head-to-head with my HR department to allow me the vacation time adequate enough to have gone to at least one of the shows on the tour to see G.O live on stage. In any event, my regret subsides when I come across the many pictures and cams from that tour which of course include the many airport sightings as the men darted their way throughout Asia. To add to my ever growing collection of G.O’s Airport Style, I share a little bit of the masked man as he and his MBLAQ cohorts made their way to and from Bangkok in early July 2012.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 341

It is without question that G.O can create emotional reaction with his vocals. Whether he sings tenderly or with powerful lamentation, you feel something when he releases the notes. I also concede that the visuals captured of him singing are equally powerful. Much like a painter or sculptor must paint or sculpt the story of his art on a canvas or in stone, a singer must become the canvas of the song which moves through him as he sings. Yes, I will repeat that which I have said over and over, I love the way music moves through G.O. He and his music are an amazing blend of sound and visuals, even when he is simply standing on the stage with a single spotlight illuminating his tender presence. For this G.O One Shot day, some captures of music moving through this brilliant young artist as seen (and felt) during the Blaq% Tour.

I only have one question for those fans who had the honor and privilege of getting to one (or more) of MBLAQ concerts during their Blaq% Tour in 2012: How wild was Wild? Every fancam I have viewed (and I am certain I have not seen all of them) seems to indicate G.O and Mir’s live performance of their raucous dance track was every bit as electrifying and, yes…sexy as the provocative lyrics suggest it could, would and should be. Since it is Friday, I think we should revisit a Wild fan cam moment from the tour where you will not only be reminded of G.O’s astounding vocals, but also get a taste of that simmering sexy he lets come out to play in the performance. In looking back over the 308 posts in this series thus far, I have come to the conclusion that I really can babble on quite a bit about G.O. It’s funny. When I decided to take this journey, I told myself I was going to keep it simple. A picture, a video, a small commemoration, so long as I was consistent and posted something daily. But now, this series has become very much a labor of love for me and I find that I just cannot keep it simple when it involves G.O. I will do my best today however to try and contain the feels as I honor the absolute vocal virtuosity captured in 말하지 말걸 [I Shouldn’t Speak] at MBLAQ’s performance in Yokohama during the Blaq% Tour, 9 September 2012.

Can you imagine if every time you walked out of your house there was someone with a camera ready to point and click capturing your every move? I think about that when the lovelies of MBLAQ would go out on tour or need to travel for an appearance. Knowing that fans and/or press would be at the airport (foreign and domestic) to see them off (or greet them) had to have made them somewhat conscious of what to wear. G.O’s airport style was (and continues to be) comfortable, casual and so very cool.

If you have had a chance to look over the index of these countdown posts, you may have noticed that I have been trying to group various posts within some kind of subtitle of sorts: Becoming Immortal, G.O One Shot, Singing Benét, etc. I have also included a subtitled group called The Heavenly Collaboration.
