She (like many) has proved that there is much to admire about each and every photograph in existence of this expressively handsome man. For some reason today I started to think about rookie cyber crime unit detective Lee Tae Kyun. It has been awhile since I watched 유령 [Ghost] and I may be ready for a re-watch. In the meantime, a little Lee Tae Kyun love for today’s G.O One Shot. I have been breaking my one shot rules quite a bit lately so today I continue the tradition with some LTK .gif spam. I am not sure if you are aware, but Seoypyeonje is returning to the Korean musical theater stage next month. Directed again by Lee Gina, it returns with some familiar faces. Both Cha Ji Yeon and Lee Ja Ram each will return as Song Hwa, as will Seo Bum Seok in the role of Yoo Bong. However, there will be three new faces in the role of Dong Ho (Park Yeong Soo, Kim Jae Beom and Kang Pil Seok). As much as I love this wonderful musical and trust the direction of Lee Gina, I admit that I am still feeling a bit sad over the fact that is being revived without G.O. Then again, we all have to wonder if G.O would have even been cast again in the role (I think so); and if so, would he have accepted the offer to return? In any event, the news of the reprisal has made me drift back to G.O’s time on the Seopyeonje stage. So a little Dong Ho One Shot love on this 521st day of his service.

Sometimes the best captures in picture form are those wherein the subject is unaware a camera is being pointed at him or her. Even though G.O is pretty keen on locating cameras in a crowd, there are many times when he is not particularly paying attention. Don’t get me wrong, I love, love, LOVE when he locks eyes with a camera’s lens (especially those cameras being operated by fans). However, I love the oblivious ones as well because they sometimes capture a thoughtful, quiet or reflective moment. My One Shot for today is one of those captures.

Even if G.O believes that he cannot choose clothes, it is pretty safe to say that clothes can choose him and choose him well. Whatever he wears – be it of his own choice or the choice of a stylist or costume director, those finely woven pieces of fabric will invariably look balanced, comfortable, classy and fashionable. I have said it very often because it is true, clothes wear G.O very well. I would like to remind him (and all) of just that with my One Shot .gif today. Yes, today I want to revisit how he lit up the runway helping out designer Park Jong Chul during Seoul Fashion week in the autumn of 2012.

It is now June 2017 and even as we move closer to G.O’s discharge from the Army, I am still nostalgic for many things in the past. With June’s arrival, I cannot help but think back on MBLAQ’s comeback as a trio in 2015. As exciting as it was, there was still a sense of the unknown as to what the new music would sound like (it was and still remains great) as well as what the trio dynamic would be like (that too, was and still remains great). Since the future is uncertain, we really only have the now, and we definitely have the then. For my G.O One Shot today, I travel back to the days leading up to the release of Mirror and relive the sensational excitement of the teaser photo released in anticipation of the comeback.

I will agree that I have been stuck in 2014 for the past couple of weeks. It was a rough year, I know. But for me, it was also a magical year and those magical moments are the ones I focus on when I think of 2014. Back on Day 245 and Day 353, I featured pictures from G.O’s cheeky, adorable and gorgeous pictorial in the May 2014 issue of Campus Job & Joy Magazine. It’s Wednesday and sometimes the middle of the week requires a pick-me-up to push us over the hump and into the back end of the week so that the stretch towards the weekend seems less distant. Come Wednesday, I am aching for the final days of the work week to arrive quickly so I can enjoy the freedom and relaxation of the weekend. Also, as each week completes, we get closer to discharge. Believe it or not, the finish line is closer than you think! To give this Wednesday a bit of a push, I thought we could collectively join G.O in a nine second dance break.
