The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 345

It’s Friday!! Happy Friday all and welcome to another installment of Fan-Camming Friday here on the Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge. Sometimes Fridays are fluffy. You know, the end of the week to wind down and decompress – quiet, peaceful. Others are fierce. The work week is over, the weekend has arrived and it is time to get our fun on! Today’s Fan-Camming Friday is fierce in the guise of well, not necessarily fluff, but more like a collision of demure G.O with a sensually masculine G.O in the form of MBLAQ’s aggressive dance track, Y.

With his lithe bangs falling gently across his forehead, smoky eyes and luminous complexion, G.O tilted a few swoon meters when MBLAQ released their second mini album, Y and began promotions. Fans were probably not expecting a softer look from our virile main vocal but wow…what a heady mix of soft and masculine he proved to be. Then to throw that at us with the aggressive Y was almost too much to bear. On one hand, tender, gentle and quiet:

And on the other, aggressive, sensual and fierce:

Add Y into the mix and it is an explosion of light yet dark, gentle yet strong, reticent yet aggressive. G.O is the embodiment of yin and yang.

Our cam for today comes from Black Pearl captured at the World Cup Public Broadcast on 12 June 2010 where G.O demonstrated the perfect storm of when a demure look and a powerful aggressive performance mix to pull the rug out from under our feet and render us helpless, trapped (willingly) and mesmerized.

I have not come across anyone yet (and I have been around a long, long time) who can mix the tender gentleness that G.O possesses with the kind of fierce sensuality and passion he brings to the stage in his art.

I really hope this man is aware of how potent and amazing he and his talent are and how much we need the gift of his art to continue to evolve, grow and shine.
