I was beginning to think that G.O’s survival report update back on 14 July 2017 would be the only one we would get for the month of July and if you remember that boudoir shot, it would have been more than enough. However, I was pleasantly surprised by his late night 29 July update. Enjoying camaraderie, good food and some adult beverages, G.O and pal 2PM’s Jun. K paused a moment to create some selca magic.

In the early evening hours of Friday, 14 July, G.O served up his first Survival Report of July and quite possibly came close to breaking Instagram and the internet in the wake of it. With his steady updates since completing one year of service back in February of this year, we have seen him in various locales, all quite benign with the most notable locale being his beautiful recording studio. Never though has he opened the doors to the boudoir and invited us in. On Friday, he did just that and my rapid and irregular heart rate has yet to return to normal.

The point of G.O offering up survival reports is to ensure his adoring and patiently waiting fans that is he is healthy, happy and doing well. It may also serve to remind us that he is thinking of us as much as we are thinking of him. Whatever it is, he is making it more and more difficult to survive the reports; however, that in no way means he should stop! On the contrary, we need more like he shared back on 25 June for his No. 2 Survival Report of that month.

We were but eight days into April when G.O surprised us with another update. He is truly spoiling us, don’t you agree? But I am not complaining. This lovely selca came in the wee hours of the morning actually of 9 April 2017 while most in the east were asleep and most of us in the west were wide awake with our day well under way. For this reason, I was actually thrilled to have that 14 hour time difference between Chicago and Seoul!

Today is a special day for me. It is a day I think I will continue to commemorate because it was on this day three years ago that I first met G.O. Yes, I am corny and nostalgic, I know. It really was sort of a life-changing event for me. A good one at that. This 413th day was originally a One Shot day on my countdown calendar, but since G.O gave us a lovely selca back on 31 March, and I am in happy anniversary to me mode, I thought I would bump the one shot back a day in order to celebrate this latest update/survival report.

Many things must be going on atmospherically that we are not even aware of. For example, the biorhythms of the Earth must be tilting in the favor of every single one of G.O’s fans across the globe for I was certain he would pause updating his SNS after the generous offerings he shared in the month of February. But G.O is making it easy for us to keep expectations high. He continued to add to his Boyfriend Pic Selca Series library into March. OMG! I am not complaining, mind you. I’m not going to lie. It will be very easy to become accustomed to these surprise selca attacks. His generosity poured over into March when on the 10th, G.O updated his Instagram account once again with yet another selca. Oh my . . .

Wednesday seems like a good day for a little bit of G.O’s Selca Magic. Inasmuch as I am really counting on G.O to share quite a few more selcas during the remaining 339 days of his service, should he decide to cut back, it is at least fortuitous that over the course of the past ten years, he has wisely turned the camera on himself. There certainly was something special in the air this past (and very fine) February of 2017. Maybe the simple fact that G.O was completing his first full year of military service prompted the barrage of selca updates he shared with us via his Instagram account, each one more beautiful and alluring than the next. He capped off his…well, I am just going to call them the Boyfriend Series Selcas with a sultry come-hither pose on 17 February, and truly set some hearts ablaze.
