If you were just getting to know A.C.E and asked Choice who the main dancer or dancers are in A.C.E, odds are they would most likely say Wow and Byeongkwan. They are, after all, the group’s named main dancers. But if you asked me, I would say all five. Just because he does not carry the title main does not exclude the fact that Mr. Lee can cut a rug. It is easy for me to sing praises about Donghun’s vocal prowess. It’s a given that the man can sing. However, it is also a given that the man can dance. And when you put him side-by-side with one of the group’s mains, Donghun proves he is just as main as the main!
Wow and Donghun. Donghun and Wow. This is the perfect way to kick off the DH Dance Break sub-series of this countdown as both are currently in the military having enlisted just two weeks apart from each other. That means they will both return around the same time. Yay!
A.C.E always provides their Choice with so much content, part of which has included little dance vignettes. Most likely choreographed by themselves, the dance clips tend to be short and sweet, and so much fun to watch. Let us then start with Donghun and Wow ripping into Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J. Balvin’s I Like It.
I don’t just like it, I love it! Funky and fun, I can feel Donghun feeling himself in the clip. He keeps it light and playful though as is evident by his incredibly infectious smile. Because I am biased, I would have loved a little spotlight break for Donghun but . . . Wow is just wow, right? Love them both so much and cannot wait until they return. Which, by the way, I have no idea of when that will be. If anyone has seen discharge dates floating around, please send them my way. Until then, I am keeping this countdown at the ‘about a year and nine months’ range or, 638 days.
