I would image that recording an episode of any kind of variety show, sitcom, drama, or even MV for that matter, would be putting in a long day’s work. And given that the shows are generally taped, I would assume that there is down time, NGs, retakes, breaks and the like. All of which make conditions right for a little mischief. If I had to choose a mischief-maker for my team, I would most assuredly choose G.O. Back on 22 February 2010, he, Joon and Mir hit up the KBS2’s 스타 골든 벨 [Star Golden Bell] variety show taping for an upcoming episode and when the network cameras were not rolling, there were some fan cams that were thus giving the Countdown another quick and cheeky Playful G.O moment.
I really like the premise of this show which Wikipedia tells me is a show that consisted of mini-games, which have certain prize amounts. The winning celebrity is given the opportunity to ring the bell by correctly answering a riddle. If he or she is correct, the money is donated [to charity] in the winner’s name. Nice. I have not watched every single episode our gorgeous main vocal graced, but I have to believe that based on his intelligence, he was probably pretty good at this kind of stuff!
Intelligence aside, G.O seems to always find time to play which always brings smiles and laughter to his fans.

Who remembers that illusion?!! I sure do. My father used to entertain my brother, sister and I with this very same illusion when we were really young. I remember it really freaked us out! We would invariably try to ‘detact’ our own thumbs but surmised that dad was just a magic man! <hehehe>
What makes the video even more adorable is how much G.O’s little trick entertains himself as much as it does his fans (probably even more so). As he has hit the ripe and spectacular age of 30, I can only hope G.O continues his mischievous and playful ways because I think it provides a balance to the otherwise deeply passionate and soulful intensity of his art.
