The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 196

I don’t think I am speaking out of line when I use the adjective ethereal to describe G.O, especially in the June 2010 Elle Girl photo shoot and ultimate copy that was published in the July 2010 issue. He was as soft and ethereal as the gentlest caress of his voice in the tenderest of ballads.

When G.O’s face is filled with quiet thought and contemplation it is easy to get lost in his gaze, even when it is not particularly affixed on the camera’s lens. His expressive eyes are warm, deep and inviting. When I look at the BTS photos as well as the final shots I want to know where he was traveling emotionally while being photographed.

As ethereal (even celestial) as G.O looked in the photographs, his thoughts in the interview that accompanied the photos were indeed quite grounded and thoughtful. For example, he mentioned that it is in the ballad where he can show his true self. He said: It’s easier for me to do R&B and ballads than dance tracks. Sometimes with dance tracks, there are times when I am not showing my true self. Also, dance lyrics are more simple compared to those of ballads and R&Bs, which have a lot of lyrics dealing with realistic love that makes me like them more. *Melts*

The serenity in G.O’s eyes can be overwhelmingly romantic. If I were a romance writer, he would be my cover model of choice for every story published.

With his permission, of course.
