Having the opportunity to write a little something every day about this talented guy affords me the opportunity to learn something new. For example, I did not know that G.O’s first solo OST song was his Believe from the Korean drama, Mr. Idol, released in October 2011.

I believe – Even the dreams I gave up because it was too hard

Oh indeed, these are lyrics I would have loved to whisper softly into G.O’s ear at the close of 2014. Clearly these words are more effective hearing him sing it for the positive energy flowing from the song and the element of hope in overcoming every obstacle is heard so very succinctly in every note and every lyric that flows so effortlessly from G.O in this dynamic song.
G.O’s voice is a combination of comfort and encouragement in Believe. It is the perfect pick-me-up if you are feeling defeated.
What I truly enjoy about this song the most is hearing the smile in G.O’s voice as he sings. The lyrics suggest that no matter how many bumps in the road you weather through this journey called life, so long as you believe you can overcome, you will overcome and ultimately succeed. These are words that should even inspire the very endearing G.O, himself.

I love this song. It’s one of my favorites. And when I am discouraged it speaks straight to my heart… as so many of the songs G.O, has written do.
I am one who pays special attention to the lyrics. And the faith and hope rings loud & clear in this song… that no matter how hard the past was, better things are ahead, if we only believe.
When you said you’d have liked to have whispered these very same lyrics into his ear in the later part of 2014 tears sprang from my eyes. I hope he knows that there are lots of A+ who love him… and who Believe in him too.
It truly is a great song and so perfect for when you are feeling beaten down by life..by anything. I love that he has such an amazing command over his voice that he can sound upbeat, encouraging with a smile in his voice and then so absolutely solemn, sad and emotional in his heart-felt ballads.
My prayers for him are many but one of the things I consistently ask is that he is aware of all of the love and support here for him while he is away and how we are all waiting patiently for him. I think he knows. 🙂
I love this song! His voice is so clear and strong The song itself is so energetic and powerful, and the lyrics have great messaging that led me to buy a mini sign that I have in my office that says “Believe in Yourself”. Because really, I believe I will embrace everything in me.

It really is the perfect pick-me-up, right? And YES, his voice is spectacular here (as always) but I love the energy and positive vibe you can actually hear in his voice as he is singing, so forceful yet reassuring. Love HIM!!!!!!
