The five firecrackers of MCND just wrapped up their first European tour and are getting prepared for part two: North and South America. Yes, finally, they are getting the opportunity to tour and perform live. I am so very excited for them! European Gem (fandom) got a special treat when the group performed their latest, Juice, BEFORE it was even released. The guys wrapped up their European tour in Toulon, France on April 17, and the song was released that very same day. With signature high octane and boisterous energy, MCND invites us to experience the power, influence, authority and desirability of their special brand of Juice.

On My Playlist ~ Home Alone [Luminous]
Lately I have been turning my attention to lesser known, under-appreciated and/or rookie groups (especially those who debuted during COVID) and taking a break from big name comebacks – all bets are off however if GOT7 releases something new collectively as a group. I feel like staying on this vacay from the big agency groups while continuing to dive into the unknown or, little known, just getting started and/or underrated K-pop pool of groups – of which their are many. The newly debuted Luminous falls into that category nicely and are worth a look and listen.
[Musings] MCND On My Mind
Okay, so here’s what happened. Back in late August there was a live streaming musical festival that featured Asian artists from all over the world. Known as The Joy Ruckus Club, this would be the 4th annual festival of its kind, and as we were still in the midst of COVID (and unfortunately still are), the fest would take place online. Artists performed live sets from various locales including small venues with small audiences, to the artists’ own living rooms. It was a full ten day festival and was broadcast from places like New Zealand, Australia, Canada, the US, and of course, South Korea. Part of the festival included a K-pop segment called K-pop Superfest-New Beginnings. I bought a ticket and on August 28, 2021, I was officially introduced to MCND.
