The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 8

On a scale from one to ten (with ten be the highest supreme best of the best), on any given day, G.O’s level of handsome is easily at 10 (in fact, I would say it is arguably higher). I am convinced, however, that there is no technology available today that could adequately measure the level of his handsome and charisma during MBLAQ’s Stay era.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 1

I should have been prepared. I knew it was inevitable. But much like the majority of his legion of fans, news of G.O’s military enlistment came as a complete blindside. At 2PM, Korean Standard Time, on Thursday, February 18, 2016, our gentle soulful soldier man officially arrived to the training camp in Nonsan, Chungnam Province to begin his four week basic training.

And so it begins.

Prelude to Adieu – An Evening With G.O

News of MBLAQ’s mercurial main vocal heading to the Army broke on Monday, February 15 and to many came as a complete shock and surprise. I was in flight heading back to Chicago when reports of G.O’s enlistment was spreading like wildfire throughout various media posts, and admittedly I was still reveling in the intoxication of spending the evening with him on what was a very windy and chilly Valentine’s Day attending the I.Callist Idol Vocalist Concert in Seoul the night before. I admit I was stunned when I began reading the news and immediately felt the bittersweet aftertaste of the concert realizing that my bias was going to be gone for two years. In retrospect, however, if you paid close attention, the messages leading up to this news were there. They were subtle, but nevertheless, they were there.

Reason 12 Insta-Romance – Update

On February 4, 2016, some sweet G.O Instagram updating took us all by surprise. Inasmuch as it has only been a little over a week since he shared some love, G.O’s prompt and steady flow of updates since joining Instagram had us all a bit anxious as to where he was, but more importantly, what he was up to.

[series] 116 Reasons to Love Byung Hee – #12 Insta-Romance

Reason 12 Insta-Romance

After an exceptionally long hiatus from social media, it came as a huge shock and delightful surprise to see G.O added Instagram to his list of social media outlets. Joining mid-December 2015, it was the perfect holiday gift to give his fans. Call me crazy (I know you already do), but I am finding that his initial posts teem with a gentle aura of romance which, added to the simple fact that he now is on Instagram, is enough for me to declare yet another reason to love Byung Hee.

When Your Bias Becomes A Movie Star

Screen Shot 2016-01-09 at 9.35.15 AM

We all knew MBLAQ’s main vocal man was up to something. His mysterious Instagram posts were tantalizing yet revealed nothing solid in way of exactly what he was doing. Speculations were high. Since he is pretty much a triple threat when it comes to entertainment (sing, act, dance), anything was possible and he, more than capable. The reveal came today a little past 11:00AM KST and it was every bit as exciting as we thought it would be!
