The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 666

G.O wearing a soft and form fitted black t-shirt, arms exposed, his glossy hair highlighted by sunny Seoul skies teems with a combination of raging masculinity and gentle romanticism. At least that is how I see him when I look at pictures captured of MBLAQ’s return from their Japanese debut back in May 2011. But then, that is basically how I see G.O always. You know, that perfect blend of sweet and sexy; strong and gentle, etc. There were not many photographic captures that I could find of G.O at Gimpo that fine sunny day in May, but I found a few that encouraged me enough to want to add to the growing collection of G.O’s Airport Style here on the countdown.

Why don’t we just start the week off with some G.O cute overload? Happy Monday to you on this 334th Day of G.O’s service! I feel like keeping it light and fun so I decided to travel back to MBLAQ’s Japan debut days of May 2011 and, in particular, the day G.O, Seung Ho and Thunder visited the Made in BS Japan MBLAQ Special. Remember the ‘Synchronizing Questions’ segment?

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 37

In December 2009, Rain took his five talented protégées to Japan to introduce them to his Japanese fans. And thus began Japan’s love affair with the glorious men living in absolute quality. The really amazing part of this moment in MBLAQ’s history was that MNET Japan decided to document the group’s first visit to Japan for their 2010 K-Pop Star Series. In the documentary entitled Yo! Tokyo, fans were able to get to know a little more about MBLAQ from the men themselves. For me, however, the sweetest revelation in this documentary was watching G.O own the fact that he pulled rank as the member of MBLAQ most favored by the more *cough* mature fan base.
