Remember when you attached yourself officially to a bias and then began to scour the internet for anything about him (or her)? I have not even scratched the surface of all that is out there on this charming guy, but I am certainly grateful that I have not broken my internet yet with all of the research I have been doing these past 121 days. That said, I remember coming across this particular fan cam (oh, I am adding another subtitle segment called “Fan-Camming” and this is my first post for that sub) and was immediately held captive by G.O’s endearing fan service.

Ok, so even though I say that I am happy that I came to the MBLAQ party late in the game because I am not sure I would have been able to handle all of the OMG G.O moments real-time, I will confess that I really, really, REALLY wish I could have watched each and every episode of his Immortal Song 2 performances as they were being broadcast. Not only to take the journey to the depths of his heart via song, but also to enjoy his many moments interacting with the other vocalists, the audience, commentators and MCs.

It does not surprise me that my favorite G.O Immortal Song 2 performance was one in which he did not take home top honors. Still…..have you listened to this one? I mean, really listened to it??? G.O took Ju Hyun Mi’s 추억으로 가는 당신 [Leaving For Memories] and ignited it into a searing rock ballad of epic proportions. And no, I am not exaggerating!

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 28

On June 25, 2011, G.O stepped on the Immortal Song 2 stage for the first time as a competitor in the KBS singing competition show. And much like he would do when he first stepped onto a musical theater stage, he initiated and invited a whole new audience to come drink in the potent elixir of his song, his voice and his soul.
