I cannot believe it took almost 200 days before I decided to write about G.O’s first solo single, 내꿈에 서라도 [Even In My Dreams], the tender and romantic ballad he wrote and composed that was released in July 2011. In that I always want to celebrate G.O’s music as well as his writing and composing skills, I am surprised I waited this long! Well, it is a Sunday and so it goes that something light and romantic should be the main course of the day.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 142

There is no remedy to help calm the fluttering of the heart, the emotional overload and cacophony of feels I experience when G.O sings in English. Of course, I love when he sings in Korean. Well, I just love when he sings. Period. And yes, Korean may be the language he speaks, but I think it is music that is the language of his heart.

It is true that music will always be a language that bridges the gap of understanding, a vibrational language that need not be understood in word when conveyed with honest, pure and passionate emotion. Nevertheless, Seung Ho, G.O and Cheondung’s offering of Maroon 5’s This Love (in English) on 아이콘 [Icons] was nothing short of heart-stopping.
