I hope this update brings good news and the opportunity for more USA+ to get their hands on Seung Ho’s Japanese solo debut CD, Demoaitaiyo. When I posted my last update, it was based on information I received from Ivy at that time. In their email to me they stated that they were only selling Seung Ho’s CD as a five CD set. Then overnight everything changed. But changed in our favor! Ivy decided to offer a couple of different packages, one of which includes the purchase of one CD, only. As a result, I have reworked everything, including shipping costs. So let’s get started!
I am sure Seung Ho is pleased with Ivy’s decision to expand the sale options. I am happy there are more options, too! Before I lay out the various packages and prices, I want to let you know that I decided upon the EMS shipping rate however, I am going to reduce that rate in the international shipping cost to send the CDs from Tenso to the US. I will explain my reasoning. If the cumulative weight of the package being shipped is under 2kg, and is a small parcel, the SAL (economy airmail) rate is relatively cheap. However, if it exceeds 2kg (but is under 30kg), which most certainly can happen if there are more that 10 CDs in the package, that SAL rate will increase exponentially and in fact, becomes more expensive than the EMS rate. Therefore, I am taking the average between the EMS rates and the SAL rates and reducing them slightly.
I am trying my best to make ordering Seung Ho’s CD as accessible and affordable as possible even at the risk of having to pay out of my own pocket towards additional shipping costs. I will not know what Tenso’s cost will be until I receive confirmation that they have received my package from Ivy. At that time they will offer various shipping methods. Once I choose, I must submit payment to Tenso and Tenso will then ship the package.
Bear in mind there are three shipping costs involved here: the initial shipping from Ivy to a domestic Japanese address, Tenso’s shipping to me, and my shipping to you.
If you decide to order, please disregard my initial post with the order form. It will be easier for me to keep track if you simply email me what you want.
