When it comes to the sixth letter of the alphabet, my mind becomes inundated with a myriad of words all of which are fitting in describing the fantastic G.O. Lately, with all of his updates and specifically his recent chat session, he has been fanning the fire in my heart, igniting a fierce impatience for his return as we attempt to navigate the final 241 days of his service. My theme for this post is about fire. The fire he brings to the stage that is undoubtedly born from the artistic fires that burn inside his creative soul. Today, F is for Fiery.
F is for Fiery
Fire is a volatile and humbling element. Even at its weakest, it can sear. A good example would be the way G.O interprets a tender ballad which by all accounts is gentle and yet his vocals have a way of burning emotion and memory into our hearts, branding us with his artistry. Yes, that sounds rather dramatic, but I think some of you understand what I mean. G.O scorches hearts, and leaves his mark.
He likewise does the same with the fire of an aggressive performance. Fierce and unrelenting, I always find G.O at his fiery best during 전쟁이야 [This Is War]. No special costumery is necessary to feel the heat. In fact, he is positively incinerating in this gorgeous blue suit, attacking and burning with unyielding intensity during The Green Ribbon performance back on 20 September 2014.
Fiery, indeed. In fact, the heat and intensity are almost too much.
