I will agree that often when taking pictures with people there is a need to lean or squeeze in to be captured successfully in the frame. I may be stretching things a bit here, so humor me. One of my fave little nuances of G.O is his lean in and/or head tilt when he is taking a picture with someone. I do not believe it is always to say, stay in the frame of the picture, nor he does not do it all the time. But, he does it often enough for me to take notice.
In her Science of People article entitled Body Language of Attraction, author Vanessa Van Edwards states that, “leaning towards someone is a nonverbal way of telling them you are engaged,” and “head tilting shows interest and engagement.” In other words, if someone is leaning in and tilting his/her head towards you, he/she is engaged and interested in sharing the moment with the person (or people) in conversation or in photographs. And . . . G.O seems to be consistent across the board. Whether it is with his MBLAQ brothers, fellow artists, family, friends or fans, it would stand to reason that he wants to share the frame, and that the moment being captured is as equally important to him.
Just a few examples . . .
I admit that I cannot say with absolute certainty that I would be able to weather the storm of nerves and emotion that I would indeed suffer if I ever got the opportunity to share a selca with G.O . . . but I am willing to give it a try! ^.~
