♍️♎️ Even though I hate that time moves so quickly, I am thrilled it is September because I finally get the opportunity to honor the incredibly delightful and talented Jinyoung (born 22 September). I am thinking Jinyoung was always my GOT7 bias but we had a rough start because the other two ‘J’s’ in the group (JB and Jackson) were both vying for my love and affection.
When I went to see GOT7 live for the first time back in June 2019, I walked into the arena thinking Jackson was my guy and left pretty much certain Jinyoung fixed that. Then, I took a deep dive into JB’s solo stuff and it seemed that I changed lanes. FINALLY, after watching GOT7’s tour log (a series that documented the group’s behind the scene activities while traveling through the US and Europe on tour), Jinyoung reminded me why I was his all along. With his down-to-earth, quiet sensitivity and soothing voice, I found myself circling back into his exquisite arms. Really though, Jinyoung is much more. In fact, he is quite the full package: Sings, dances, composes and acts.
With GOT7 pretty much on hiatus as a group, this is allowing Jinyoung the opportunity to really explore acting, and I am NOT complaining. His recent turn in the complex and dark Devil Judge , makes me impatient for more. Thank goodness we won’t have to wait too long as his next project Yumi’s Cell is schedule to start on September 17.
Even though Jinyoung has been busy on the acting front, he did manage to write and record a song, Dive
