The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 265

Getting to see G.O perform in his family’s hometown on MBLAQ’s second anniversary seems . . . I don’t know, kind of romantic, doesn’t it? Well that is what fans got on 15 October 2011 when MBLAQ performed at the Gimhae Lifelong Learning Festival. G.O, stunning in red, on his home turf and throwing some intense glances into a very dedicated fan-cam during MBLAQ’s performance of Mona Lisa is a perfect choice for Day 265 of G.O’s service. Oh…and I seem to be losing track of my own fan-cam day rules, but I am sure you don’t mind. The more focused cams on G.O, the better, right?

G.O is lethal. He oozes masculinity. But his soft smile suggests a tenderness, a sweetness that gently purrs underneath it all. When he is in performance mode however, and particularly while performing Mona Lisa, he is all kinds of intense passion and fierce aggression.

Oh my…..that black tank top, those black jeans ~ even more distracting (but in a good way) is how G.O moves across the stage in between moments of choreography and still manages to find our diligent cam operator in this video and locks squarely on her lens, more than once.

If you point your camera at G.O and he takes notice, it is sort like winning a prize. At least, that is how I would feel.~^^ Then again, if that man focused his laser penetrating gaze at my cam during a performance of Mona Lisa, I am not sure if the camera or myself could remain focused, coherent or functioning, for that matter.

I just want to say I really admire your love as a fan towards G.O. While I don’t really know him (except being a member of MBLAQ and being very hairy(lol)), I feel like I get to see and know bits of him more each time I log into wordpress. The fact that you post each day (I haven’t been following the blog but I assume) since he left to serve really deserves an applaud and shows how you hold him in high regard as a fan.

I wouldn’t say MBLAQ wasn’t popular but they didn’t get the fame they deserved while they were still active and most fans would have lost the zeal once they became active (correct me if I’m wrong) but you still continue to promote him and that I admire.

I hope you continue to show how great of a person he is and also wish for the best for him upon his return.

Hi…..this is probably one of the nicest comments I have had here on the blog and I cannot thank you enough for these kind words. And not so much the ones towards me (but I am very touched and humbled by them), but mostly your kind words towards G.O. If, in my very small way I have shown how wonderful and talented he is and have given people pause to notice it, then I know I have done something good. I agree with you 100% that MBLAQ did not (and does not) get the recognition and fame they deserve and yes, I would also have to agree that after Joon and Thunder left, many fans did lose their zeal. But that Seung Ho, G.O and Mir came back as a trio with a wonderfully written, recorded and produced album (Mirror) shows how remarkably resilient they are and yes…talented. Also, they just happen to be three of the nicest guys you will ever meet! I don’t know what the future holds but I do not believe G.O is finished sharing his art just yet! Whatever he, Seung Ho and Mir decide to do at the conclusion of their respective military services is a mystery but I for one am looking forward to what unfolds because my heart is telling me great things are coming! Thank you SO MUCH for the comment. Seriously….it made my day!^^

I am looking forward to seeing what our trio does too after they finish their MS. I choose to believe that G.O. will return to his true love (music) but what form that will take I am not certain. Musical theater? Writing? Solo act? It’s just really hard to say because he’s so talented. (And I hope he does more acting too!)
Some fans may have left with Joon & Thunder… but honestly, from early on (Hello Baby)… G.O. has been my favorite!
And even though I’ve liked G.O. & MBLAQ for a few years now… but through your blog I’ve learned a lot! And am still learning! Thanks for sharing your love of G.O. with the rest of us!

Thanks so much Nan…..truly. If I am shining some special light on G.O so others can see him the way I do, then I am doing something good by him (at least I hope so)!! I cannot wait for him to return. In a recent chat on MBLAQ’s Daum Cafe, he said he is planning many things. I look forward to every single one of those things!!
