I understand it, I really do. I get that when a new group bursts on to the Korean popular music scene that there is a formula in place wherein each member of said group has a role. And those roles are generally assigned accordingly to the strength of each member as to what they will bring to the group. I get it. But I have to say with all honesty that in the spring of 2010, Lee Joon’s role of visual in MBLAQ was duly tested following the Y comeback and that G.O easily challenged that role. Yes, I’d say G.O’s role changed with that comeback from main vocal to main vocal and visual, visual….VISUAL!

[event] Merry MBLAQ Christmas Packages: Thank You

MBLAQ Mirror Red Hue

All packages have been sent (recipient, nominator, nominee). I can only hope that all on the receiving end who never confirmed receipt did in fact receive their packages safely (some are still in transit). The packages left my care with a hug, a kiss, and a smile. From there, they were on their own to arrive to their final destinations. I have to say, I enjoyed putting each and every one of the packages together. It was indeed a labor of love. However, I am happy and extraordinarily relieved the event is over.

The Tasty Sounds of 붕어빵

When MBLAQ’s main vocal man, G.O, recently alluded in a tweet back in November to being on television again very soon, he was not stringing us along creating false hope. In June of this year, MBLAQ made their triumphant comeback releasing their 8th mini album (their first as a trio), Mirror, and there were murmurings in the fandom at that time voicing hope (along with some gentle cajoling) that the man with the honey vocals should participate as a contestant in the music competition program King of Masked Singer.  Well, I think we all just got our wish.
