I decided the first post of substance for this countdown should start with a sub-series I am simply calling Hunnie Cam. I will scour the interwebs for glorious fan cams of Mr. Lee in full performance mode. I think I picked a good one to get the party started by choosing A.C.E’s performance of Do It Like Me from the 200th episode special of SBS MTV’s music show program, The Show.

Waiting For Donghun ~ Day 1
Woah. Well, I guess this is serious. I never thought I would attempt another countdown series here on the blog after that 730 day blogging journey I took when my beloved G.O went off to complete his military duty back in 2016. When I hit the publish button back on February 16, 2018 and posted the final blog entry for The Soulful Countdown, I felt accomplished. At the same time, I wondered if I would ever be encouraged or better yet, inspired, to try something like that again. Fast forward to September 2021 and here I am ready to give it another go for the next 21 (or so) months. Seems main vocal Lee Donghun of A.C.E has worked some magic on my fangirl heart. Hmmm . . . and so begins Donghun’s first day of service to his country, and my countdown to discharge, Waiting for Donghun.

[New Series] Playlist Roulette
I confess that I have far too many playlists occupying my iTunes/Apple Music account, the most robust of which I have entitled Strictly Korean. At 2413 songs (139 hours of listening time), and growing, it would be impossible for me to listen to every song on that playlist over the course of probably several lifetimes. But I think I found a way of giving it more listening love, and that is through tying it into a weekly blog series called Playlist Roulette.
