[Announcement] G.O International Fan Club

When G.O entered the Army way back on 18 February 2016, I knew that I would write about him daily as a means to help me get through the days of his service, as well as a means of celebrating him and his talent. At that time, I also began contemplating what I would do following his discharge as I knew I would continue to follow his career and support his activities. It seemed that my little space here in the blogosphere was slowly turning into a fan page dedicated solely to MBLAQ’s charming main vocal and as such, I began to give serious thought about restructuring everything here on my blog to convert it into a fan page. But, I knew I wanted something new. Something separate and independent. Something special. Something that was going to be dedicated solely to G.O that would coincide with his own new chapter. So, I came up with the idea of creating a fan club site and the G.O International Fan Club was born.

The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 319

Happy New Year to all who have patiently been on this countdown journey with me. We are nearing on one full year completed of G.O’s service but with the onset of 2017, we are now beginning the second year and final year of that service. Yay!!! You must agree that year one has moved swiftly and that our brilliant and gentle music man remained lovingly in touch throughout his first year away. Only G.O knows what cute and covert ways he will decide to use to connect with us throughout 2017. Nevertheless, I think it is safe to say he will stay in touch. May the new year bring all of you peace, happiness, health and love. And . . . continued patience as we wait for G.O to return.

[notice] The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge

Just a little heads up to let those following the Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge here on the blog that beginning 1 November, I will be moving the publish time to 10:00 AM KST (it is currently 6:00 AM). With daylight’s saving time coming to a close here in my home state of Illinois on G.O’s birthday (6 November), the time difference between Chicago and Seoul will stretch to 15 hours. Somehow that extra hour makes the time difference seem even longer. I decided (after 254 posts) that I would really prefer being at home publishing these countdown offerings (instead of at the real job desk). Truth be told, I just want to give myself a little extra time to finalize and make the posts pretty before sending them into the blogosphere. I think you would agree that G.O is worth every extra bit of attention.~^^
