I am just your average, every day, run-of-the-mill fangirl who got swept up in the fervor, fury and fun of Korean music, film and drama. My gateway was singer/actor, Rain and from there, I moved into MBLAQ territory with a specific focus on the group’s main vocal, G.O. In both incarnations, I became a laser-focused fan with no interest (at that time) to explore anything else. And specifically with G.O, everything I watched, listened to and wrote about was…him.

If there is one constant in this world, it is change. So here I am, still a fangirl, but now with a broader vision. Initially when I began blogging, it was my intention to explore. When I discovered G.O however, I parked myself in his lane and did not budge for over four years. I have no regrets. But now, I am ready to once again explore, to exit that lane and begin new discoveries allowing artists, musicians, dramas, film and music to come into MY lane, and force me to stop, look and/or have a listen.

The Fangirl Adventure Log is now The Fangirl Lane. It will become a newly realized adventure in fangirling, one that will not become a single note homage to any one group, person, film, music or drama in particular. I am open to it all. However, I do reserve my right to swerve into a single lane if I am so inclined to do so. I am after all quite monogamous and as history shows pretty much a one man/one group woman.~🤷🏻‍♀️

I still want give many thanks, shout outs and hugs to my blogger mentors (and friends), Kfangurl of The Fangirl Verdict and the gregarious Miss Nelly of My Myooz. I will forever be grateful for their collective encouragement and friendship. I have really enjoyed watching dramas with them in the past, and have recently returned to doing so with Kfangurl. Look forward to seeing my take (not reviews) on our watches at some point here in a section I plan to call On My Screen. Please visit their blogs and show them lots of love. They are both really good at what they do!

I still consider myself a travel junkie along with part-time yogi, amateur photographer and vegan. And, I will always remain a purveyor of random acts of kindness.

      Yes, you are…..and I thank you for being such an inspiration and patient Sangsaenim! Still trying to wrap my brain around it all and will continue to tweak this as I go along. My only hope is that I gave Rain a fair turn. He was the impetus for me to give this a try…well, you were too! So, I bow humbly to you and extend my most sincerest gratitude! <3<3<3
