The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 725

As excited as I am that there are only six days remaining in G.O’s service, I am simultaneously sentimental. I have always been a sentimental type and it seems as though the support and attention I have given to G.O these past four plus years have rendered me even more sentimental. I guess it is because now I have a history with MBLAQ and, specifically G.O. I have moments that I can look back on wherein I have seen him, interacted with him and have experienced not only his immeasurable talent, but his kindness and graciousness. For my last One Shot, I am going to succumb to my sentimentality by sharing one of the pictures I took of G.O during his last performance before enlisting.

Ok so true, I maybe should have waited until 14 February to post this last G.O One Shot; but, I did not feel like waiting. Plus, by the 14th, I think I will be filled with lots emotion, maybe even too much to write as that is the day I will begin my journey to Seoul. On one hand, I will be really excited, but I admit that as I near the finish line here, I am actually kind of sad. This countdown series has been part of my every day life since 18 February 2016. It has become such a part of me and I am actually feeling the pangs of seeing it reach completion. Strange, right? Ever since I started, I could not wait to finish because in finishing that meant G.O would be back. Two sides battling to control my emotions!!

Anyway, this was one of my favorite shots that I captured at the I.Callist Idol Vocal Concert back on Valentines Day 2016 in Seoul. It was a fantastic evening that turned out to be quite bittersweet. Those moments when G.O was on stage however were pure magic and truly a beautiful send off from him to his adoring fans.

Your dedication and passion are amazing, my dear. Early congratulations on completing this series without missing a single day! That is impressive indeed. I’m not at all surprised you’re heading to Seoul for his discharge. Well-deserved trip, I say! Enjoy yourself, and savor every moment! Sending you hugs <3

Hello my dearest Kfangurl!! Thank you for your kind words. Inasmuch as some may deem it obsession and compulsion, I am nevertheless surprised myself that I am seeing the series to completion. I actually have everything written to the final day and have only the actual discharge day to write which I figured would be best saved to do once I am in Seoul.

I am not sure if he will be discharged sooner because of the Lunar New Year holiday but, I do plan to be at his fan meeting on the 24th. Although we do not yet know what it entails, he does have a schedule for the 25th, 26th and 27th. He will tell us what it is at the fan meeting. I am very excited and look forward to his return…and to welcoming him back.

By the way, we still need to have our catch up sesh at some point. I am back from Seoul on 3 March. Let’s try to get something on the books after then if your schedule allows!

Sending big hugs right back at you!!~😘
