The Soulful Countdown to G.O’s Discharge ~ Day 152

When Mirror promotions were cut short last July due to G.O battling laryngitis, fans grew hungry for our beloved trio while he convalesced. Ravenous, in fact. By August/September 2015, he was fully recovered and MBLAQ managed a couple of local concert appearances in South Korea before heading to South America in October. I absolutely adore when G.O grabs onto a fashion style and settles in. In late summer 2015, a stylish fedora was his fashion accessory of choice (which may or may not have had something to do with the fact that he shaved his head in early July). Nevertheless, he was stunning in that hat and pushed things to defcon 5 on the bias overload meter when he took the stage decked in black on September 17, 2015 at the Damyang World Bamboo Expo.

G.O has always been, and will forever remain, disarmingly masculine. Yet, his gentle and sensitive heart buffers that masculinity with a softness that makes his attractiveness even more potent. And, it is not all about his looks. Not even. It is the way he carries and presents himself. When he is in performance mode, his charm and magnetism is amplified. There is swagger without arrogance. A command of the stage that is undeniable, even when he is sharing it with his MBLAQ brothers and others.

I always manage to find the strength to survive his attack on my senses because G.O (ever the gentleman), always attacks without an intent to harm, but with every intent to capture your heart.

HJ’s photos capture G.O’s soft essence beautifully.

As well as the intense strength and power of his masculinity.

Maybe it is just me and it might be better in live performance… but I really don’t care much for the back up dancers.
Maybe they’re supposed to be distracting…
