If there is one thing I am certain of after watching MBLAQ’s Hello Baby, it is that when the time comes for G.O to be a parent to his own children, he is going to ace daddy-hood. And yes, I am well aware of the fact that Hello Baby is a reality/variety show and that the men of MBLAQ were ‘appas’ for the purpose of entertainment. Nevertheless, there were still some genuine parenting moments the men faced and G.O proved he was up to the task.
In Episode 10, four of the five appas along with the sweet babies, Lauren, Dayoung and Leo, spent a day at the Everland Resort. Everland is a theme park consisting of a zoo, amusement park, water park, themed areas, flower garden, petting zoo, gift shops, restaurants, etc. A little something for everyone and definitely a place for our Hello Baby troop to enjoy a nice spring outing.
This episode is one of my particular favorites. There were many funny moments as the group navigated the park. In addition, there were also many sweet moments throughout of G.O with the children, specifically after naughty appas Joon, Cheondung and Mir abandon him (and the children) to indulge their own childish desires to ride the amusement park rides. I suppose I can forgive those n’er-do-wells for leaving G.O to mind the children on his own because the result was oh so sweet!
These three babies….so adorable! Oh, and the big child in the back with the furry ears, the absolute appa adorable, right?!
MBLAQ’s Hello Baby is probably my favorite of their variety show offerings and impossible to duplicate. This particular season (5) had to have been a program director’s dream. A handsome, talented and likable group of musicians and three perfectly cast babies.
A winning combination indeed.
