If you are *cough* a mature fangirl like me, you may recall those old school R&B groups of the late 60’s and early 70’s. Performances were all about the music, yes. But coupled with that was the dance routine. Perfectly synchronized (music and members), usually intricate, and always entertaining, it was a staple and every group had one. It was the ultimate visual and in this live performance of Shine, Jae, Yoochun, Yunho, Junsu and Changmin are perfect.

The more I watch these guys perform, the more they amaze me. Are there any K-pop groups today doing what they did the way they did it? And if they are even coming close, are they enjoying it like these guys are in this performance? I said it once before in my post for Wrong Number, they all move as if they are telepathically connected always knowing where the other is, always in sync, and always flowing with such ease.

They are like a well-oil machine yet they are never stiff or mechanical.

😉 aww Michele!..we can no longer question ourselves when it comes to this five gorgeous boys!..it always a super duper YAY!….as i quote it my friend besides me would always tease me each time i listen to them and i would say loudly: super-duper YAY!….she would say what’s with the YAY that i have to connect the combo adjectives before it?…she feels like super-duper YAY is from the Avengers…LOL!

….and to your question that whether is there any group that can do what the TVXQ did before?…well i can’t think of any…honestly there are numerous k-pop group that can also sing and dance…but i can’t think of any group that can match or equal their awesomeness?….have you?..

…MBLAQ has been said that a group that can match TVXQ?…as much as i love the group coz of G.O and Mir…well i think TVXQ is diverse when it comes to dancing skills and rendering their collective voices!….though i have so much respect to MBLAQ ‘coz they were trained under the great k-pop icon RAIN….<3 😉

In watching Yunho and Changmin recently in their K-music show appearances, I have to say yes, they are good, but with the three other voices that once were a part of them, it just lacks for me. In reading so many of the comments on so many of the older TVXQ videos/performances, it is clear that most of their fans would love to see them all back together again. There was just something about those 5 collective voices that, when combined, just fell into place like perfect pieces of a puzzle. The fact that each of them have such range when singing only adds to the completeness, I think.

MBLAQ have come a long way in a short time. The anchors of the group I believe are GO, Seung Ho and Joon – vocally although Cheondung has really really improved. GO and Seung Ho are clearly the gifted musicians of the bunch. I lose my mind listening to GO and get so completely captivated by SH when he is playing the piano. Their Immortal Song 2 performance of If You Come Into My Heart is wonderful. I think they will continue to improve.

You know TVXQ really set the bar very high for any boy group to follow in every aspect from vocals to dancing to stage presence on down the line. They have such a strong fan base, too. But, so does MBLAQ and Rain, for that matter. Thankfully there are so many K-loves to be had out there for all of us!! And I think they all have something to learn from each other. Rain really knows how to play to the audience. He connects SO well. He really does make you feel as if he is performing for just YOU. I saw this first hand in Tokyo – all four shows. He is constantly connecting with his audience. That is very special. I have seen that in live MBLAQ performances, too. I have seen where MBLAQ will take fans’ cameras and take selfies and stuff. That is just awesome fan service. I have not watched enough fan cam stuff to see how TVXQ or any of the guys individually interact with fans, if at all. Rain is stellar at fan service – he is constantly reminding all of us how much his fans mean to him. I don’t think he ever takes a single one of them for granted. In the second episode of his reality show he talked about how netizen commented on how he/she turned off the television during Rain’s MAMA performance but then was too curious to see him and switched it back on. Initially when he and his dance crew saw that post, they all laughed – however, later in the show Rain brought it up and in quiet contemplation said, it just reminds him how truly important each fan is.

Fan service. I need GO to serve me up some fan service daily – like some selfies please!!! <3 Love this K-world!!

Thank you, Evez for stopping by and always sharing your thoughts with me!!

and thank you for always replying on my comments…i have been away from the net lately due to work, i couldn’t open any account as i am doing outside work nowadays..the worst my tab is out of order…>.<..

and i am concurring with you that as much as Max and Yunho were great as a duo performer but the greatest thing comes out when they are with the other three, Hero, Mickey and Junsu will complete the magic and like what we conversed before seeing them performing together is awesome… 😉

when the group departed, each group recorded a great songs and i have favorites, i am sharing the vids from Max and Yunho, you'll find this duo so gorgeous in here, the dance and live version of Before You Go

      Hi Evez,
Thank you so much for always stopping by and sharing your love!! Oh my but Before You Go is sizzling HOT!!! I love these soulful R&B-esque songs. Yunho and Max burn up that screen. Wow….! That was 4+ minutes of baby-making music if I do say so myself! I think I need either a cigarette (and I don’t smoke) or a cold shower…or both!

I do love all five of them and the two separate groups are lovely – but, sigh, wouldn’t it be great to see a reunion?!! I love loving on them with you!! They will always remain 5 of the most talented men I have had the pleasure of listening to and watching!

yeah… aren’t this two so sexy in this vid?…i had to laugh when you said it’s a 4-min baby-making music vid!….and i couldn’t blame you for saying it. YunHo and Max were so awesome in here…too much sensuous thing to me…you surely couldn’t resist the sexiness of Yunho when he danced and with Max collaboration of his high-pitch singing voice it’s a surreal winner….;)

..i guess all we could do for now is sigh and wait for the time of their reunion?..like what the cassies motto “always keep the faith”….<3 😉
