A Moment of Gratitude

I feel the need to acknowledge a few special people who probably unbeknownst to them, really fueled me into wanting to take this particular adventure.  I just want to take a moment to appreciate them.

Kfangirl, you will NEVER know the extent to which you have inspired me. Gong Yoo brought us together and it has been an absolute pleasure playing Out-Thunk The Fangirl with you on a regular basis!  Your blog, The Fangirl Verdict, totally RAWKS and I cannot reiterate enough how all K-drama fans should definitely pay it a visit.  The care and love you pour into it is a true testament to your love of all things K-drama, but also to your indomitable artistic spirit.  I bow to you, my dear K-friend.  By the way, JH wants you to pry your embrace from KWB and get back to Chuno-ing with me!!! ♥

Maria, Pat and Alisha, how cool was it to see Rain…IN PERSON, performing steps away from us???  We all know how lucky we were!!  You three made that otherwise surreal experience so incredibly awesome! Maria and Pat, I will not soon forget our Au Bon Pan Rain Lunchtime Roundtable wherein we divulged our collective love for that incredible man.  It was a no-brainer for me to feature Rain as my first K-Shot of Hot, and I did it in part to let all of you continue the swoonfest that rolled out collectively for us on May 8th!  I bow to each of you and hope that we will all meet again, in the front row, when Rain makes his way back to the US! ♥

CloudUSA, you guys are incredible with all you do to unite and encourage Rain fans everywhere!  I love that you have your finger on the pulse of all things Rain and that you keep us all so readily informed.  Additionally, I am grateful you have provided a place where Rain fans can meet, mingle and share their stories, their love and their admiration for this man.  I bow to you for welcoming and encouraging me! ♥

To my coworker, Tina, who is bombarded daily with my Rainsanity, I am so thankful you dig him and agree that I have excellent taste!  We are going to have to find a way to get Rain and RA to collaborate…how HOT would that be???  I bow to you for being such a tolerant and gracious friend! ♥

Ok….group hug!!!

D’awww.. You are so sweet, thanks for the shout-out, and thanks for your kind words! <3 <3 You're such an encourager and such a huge supporter, & I have to give u credit for providing a few key catalysts yourself, for my own blogging journey! Remember that you're the one who started making collages? ;D

Definitely, it's been so much fun squeeing with you, and I especially love playing Out-Thunk the Fangirl – the game that is so much fun to win AND lose! ;D

I'm so glad you're enjoying this new blogging journey – here's to many more shared squees & thunks! And yes, I will have to pry myself away from KWB *just* long enough to go back to Chuno ^^v Hee!

Well, your generosity, kindness and encouragement have gone a long way for me! As I move along this journey, I just want to make sure I thank those who have been formidable guides, mentors, sangsaenims and partners in squee!

YES!!! To win or lose a round of Out-Thunk the Fangirl is indeed acceptable! In fact, I think losing a few rounds is probably better in the long run! 🙂

Thank you again, my friend! <3

Welcome to the blogger family! As a relative newbie myself, it’s a whole different world and definitely a way to release those pent-up feelings about dramas, movies; whatever!!

    • Michele says:

Thank you!!! I am both nervous and excited but have been having fun in any event! It is indeed a different world, right? But definitely an interesting one to navigate through. Plus, K-drama is just so entertaining and basically a drug. Once you get a taste, there is no turning back and you need to keep coming back for more!

I have a long, long way to go to know who is who out there, but I am game to meet as many as I can in way of drama, movie and music! Thank you for the warm welcome AND welcome also to you!!!

Thank You! it sure was a lot of fun lets hope we get to do it again and again. It is true to not ever say never as I never thought that it would be possible to see Rain perform live and it did happen. So happy to have met you and I look forward to reading your blog. Thank you also for the “pick-me-up” daily twitter Rain pictures, I may not always reply but know that I do enjoy very much receiving and looking at them. Keep them coming.! Hope to see you in the near future again.

    • Michele says:

Maria, so very happy we met! I suppose we really have Rain to thank for that, right? Thank you for visiting the blog. I think I am going to have a lot of fun with it! I am happy you appreciate the little Rain twitter pick-me-ups. Trust me, I have lots of fun searching for those little tidbits. I already have one ready to go for tomorrow! I never tire of looking at him! I am confident that the DC crew will meet again when Rain makes his way back to the US or, who knows, we all may end up in Seoul together! Because, after all…anything is possible and indeed…never say never!! <3

Well, I was introduced to you by none other than the kfangurl :). Welcome to the world of blogging and I just started my blog as well. I was a closet blogger but now I’m coming out and ready to share my feelings with kdrama-verse.

    • Michele says:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! And, welcome also! I was so very hesitant to give it a try but I am finding it to be great fun and, well, I got to gaze at Rain incessantly for the better part of a week. However, I must confess that I gaze at him daily in any event! I will get your blog listed up on mine to share the love!!

Thank you for stopping by and for the welcome! <3

    Michele,

Thanks to you, that day in Washington, DC was one of the best days in my life. How fabulous was it to see Rain so close??? I’m thankful that I got to meet you and Maria and sincerely hope we meet again at a Rain concert either here or in Seoul.

Patsiii, that day will be forever etched into my heart and soul, seriously! It was amazing in so many ways. Amazing that we all got to meet each other and amazing that we all had the opportunity to see Rain so close and so intimate!! I love knowing now that he did point out in his little speech in between songs, that he had two months left on his military service. Like we needed to be reminded!!!! Yet, I thought it was adorable of him to mention it, almost like preparing us fans that he is coming back and probably coming back in a big way!! I know he is as ready to come back as we are to have him back. Last night I had this thought about him. I wondered if he knew the magnitude of adoration he truly has from his fans. Honestly, I have never witnessed the kind of love, devotion, admiration, etc., for an entertainer as I have with Rain. It is HUGE! It is mind-boggling to me.

I am confident that you, Maria, Alisha and I will definitely meet up again in the future and it will probably be because of Rain! I don’t care where it will be, so long as we all can have that moment together again. And, this time, I am coming with better equipment! AND, I am going to follow my intuition when I see a black mini-bus!!! I am STILL kicking myself for just lounging there across the street eyeing that mini-bus, when my gut was saying…….they are IN there! Aiiieeeesh! ;p

Thank you for the very kind comment! ♥♥♥♥
